NOT A JEALOUS
BONE IN HIS BODY –
JJ Shaw congratulates his buddy, Wes Elliot,
for winning one of our drawings. JJ was one of the original Midnight Riders,
playing
Thomas Irons in our first summer campaign back in 2003. He and his buddy swung
by the table and
had been talking to Mike Mitchell for about 10 minutes when Wes looked down
at the table and noticed
that his name was on a little legal pad. He cocked his head to the side and
read it clearly under the
title “Winners.” His eyes got real wide and he exclaimed with
amazement, “Hey, that’s ME! I won!”
Mitchell double-checked it and, yup, Wes was the proud winner of a package
of Artisan miniatures
and a cool Larry Leadhead comic strip collection.
