Sept. 2002 Update
Sept. 8, 2002

It's like
we've been
bushwhacked
by Father Time
this year!

Spring and Summer have moved by faster than a palomino on loco weed, and we're still slaving over the rules. I hate to break it to ya'll, but it doesn't look like we're going to publish this year. We've made great progress, but there's still so much to do.

This past year we worked hard playtesting Specialties, Movements per Turn, and Rapid Fire rules, but we're still vigorously playtesting the rules for Hand-to-Hand Combat, Dynamite, and Horseback Movement. We know it's taking a long time, but we'd rather not put out anything than put out something half baked and untested.

On the plus side, though, we are getting closer than ever to sending out a product for "blind playtesting." These will be vital playtests -- none of the creators will be on hand or near the gamers. It'll be just a GM and some of his buddies with one set of the rules and some miniatures. That's the real "acid test" that will determine how good our product is. We should be ready for this phase in October 2002, so if you have a group that would be interested in playtesting our game, please contact us soon so we can discuss this with you in detail.

Thanks again for your help and we hope ya'll continue to support us in our efforts to put out a quality game.
