Hit the Outlaw Trail with the Summer Gutshot Campaign
Game Starts at 7 p.m., Tues. June 3rd, 2003 at Midnight Comics
May 30, 2003 -- Houston, Texas

Bank Robberies! Cattle Rustling! Stagecoach Robberies… and maybe a visit to Miss Mona’s Parlor.

All this and more is waiting for the foolhardy buckaroos who’ve got the gumption to saddle up and ride “The Outlaw Trail.” Join our band of no-account varmints as they try to make a name for themselves in the annals of the Old West!

Based on the phenomenal success of the Midnight Comics Mini-Con, The Gutshot Posse will run its first-ever campaign this summer.

"We’ve run LOTS of stand-alone games in the past," said game co-creator Mike Mitchell. "This will be our first on-going campaign where the Characters will start out young and inexperienced and work to increase their skills during the course of the game."

Mitchell has committed to running the games for at least 4-6 weeks, and may continue as long as there is interest and players.

The game will be Tuesday nights at 7 p.m. at Midnight Comics in Southwest Houston near HWY6 and Westheimer (Check their Website or call the store for directions: 281-293-0226). The store has about 2,000-square-feet of gaming space.

"I expect the Gutshot campaign on Tuesday nights to be very well received," said store owner John Simmons, who expressed excitement about having the local game in his shop.

Mitchell expressed similar enthusiasm for the venue.

"Midnight Comics has a GREAT setup for gamers, and they’ve been very solid in their support of our game,” Mitchell said. “I’m really looking forward to using this extended campaign as a way to shake down our Campaign Rules and Victory Point system."

Players of all ages and experience levels are welcome: miniatures, buildings, and game materials will be provided. Games are expected to run 4-6 hours
